The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC), an organization that we are members of and support, signed a stakeholder letter, along with over 500 other organizations, supporting the repeal of the Cadillac Tax. The letter supports H.R. 748 (the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019) and implores Congress to repeal the 40 percent tax on employer-provided healthcare coverage. H.R. 748 has bipartisan support and only serves to help the employee.
We here at Proficient Benefit Solutions add our support to that of the ECFC and beseech law makers to finally repeal this tax. This tax is as welcome as a wet shoe; it’s time for the Cadillac Tax to go.
