Right now, the health and wellbeing of our employees, our clients, and the participants we serve are our primary concern. We continue to monitor and respond to the latest guidance and advice from local, state, and federal officials, and are grateful to announce that we continue to operate at full capacity.
This past Monday, March 23rd, the mayor enacted Emergency Order #5 and the “Stay Home Work Safe” measures. Based on the descriptions provided in this document, Proficient Benefit Solutions is an exempted business by definition which means that we have the ability to still work from our main office location. Even so, we have responded to the mayor’s order by increasing the number of our employees who are working remotely to 70% of our total staff.
We continue to provide claims and customer service support during our regular business hours. The only customer-facing modification we have made in response to the pandemic is that we have temporarily closed our office to all external visitors. We encourage our clients and their employees to take advantage of the technological features we offer that will help eliminate paper processes and streamline all requests.
Please know that we will continue to work hard to fulfill our responsibilities and obligations to our clients and their employees and pray that you and your families remain well and safe.
